Frequently asked questions
The comprehensive diagnostic evaluation is designed to get a full picture of your child's strengths, struggles, and emotional needs. I begin with a parent interview to understand your concerns, your child's developmental history, and their experiences at home and school. Then, I structure the child portion of the evaluation based on the information I gather during our initial conversation.
Using gold-standard assessment tools and clinical expertise, I evaluate for challenges like ADHD, behavior disorders, anxiety, emotional regulation, and other concerns.
After gathering all the information, you'll receive clear, thoughtful feedback, along with personalized treatment recommendations and next steps to help your child thrive.
I love collaborating with teachers and schools to support your child in every environment. From school observations to consultations and school wide trainings, I strive to empower educators with the techniques that help your child thrive. Working together allows us the ability to create consistency in the approach for your child which leads them to be more successful and flourish!
It's never too early to support your child's emotional development. In fact, early intervention (especially ages 2-7) often leads to the best outcomes and can make parenting feel easier and more joyful. If you're wondering if your child and family would benefit from support, I'd be happy to help bring clarity and guide you along this journey.
